Many injured players on the Premier League return

Three players had to leave the pitch with a stretcher in the match against City 3-0 against Arsenal in the round of compensation in the 28 Premier League on June 17.

Concerns about the state of the players, after playing for too long, became a reality at Etihad yesterday. In the first 24 minutes, Arsenal had to replace two because of injury. Midfielder Granit Xhaka left the field after eight minutes for ankle pain. 15 minutes later, midfielder Pablo Mari was unable to play after the collision with Kyle Walker.

The replacement for Mari, David Luiz, changed the course of the match with a series of mistakes. After making a mistake in the first goal, Luiz penalized and was sent off in the second half. Arsenal played with 10 people for most of the half and accepted to lose 0-3.

Man City must also end the match with 10 people, but not for a penalty card. After replacing five people with Arsenal to ensure the fitness of the player, the home team suffered losses at the end of the match.

Center-back Eric Garcia collided with goalkeeper Ederson as they both tried to stop the ball. Ederson’s rush made Garcia unconscious, using a ventilator before being rushed to the hospital. Earlier, the Spanish midfielder was given a 10-minute first aid on the field, in the anxiety of many teammates.

The Premier League is expected to end on July 18. With an average of two matches a week playing from now to the end of the season, the risk of injury is ever higher.

Thiago Silva agreed to reduce his salary to go to the Premier League

PSG center-back Thiago Silva is determined not to go to the Premier League to make money – a positive signal for the interested clubs like Arsenal, Tottenham or Everton.

The Telegraph said that Silva is willing to reduce a large amount compared to the salary of $ 440,000 a week currently enjoying at PSG.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton are the top three candidates in the signature hunt for Silva. Each club has its own strengths. Tottenham owner Jose Mourinho, Everton are revived under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti, while Arsenal can guarantee a starting kick.

The contract between PSG and Silva will expire at the end of June. PSG does not agree to the extension due to not wanting to keep a 35-year-old player. Silva will play for Ligue 1 champion when the Champions League returns in August.
